With nearly a decade of breeding, we have mastered creating an environment conducive to raising happy and healthy sphynx. No "lip service" here. We mean it!
We have one litter at a time. Each individual is carefully raised. We are past the period where bringing in new cats causes illness repeatedly in young kits. Our vet bills are minimal. Each kit raised here is done so meticulously with a keen eye on producing well-socialized kits ready to transition into their forever home. We have kids and dogs . Our kit's level of socialization and overall health shines. We know our kits as individuals and will match them perfectly with the right family. Our pedigrees go back many generations so there are few surprises. Retired breeding cats live locally with family or friends. Their hearts are scanned for life..our eldest are over 8 now. We work with a very small number of other breeders who also know their lines well.
We can provide references going back nearly a decade with families who have 2, 3,4 and 5 of our kits. Most families return to us for their second kit!
Our concern is with raising well adjusted kittens and finding the best homes possible for those we cannot keep. We have participated in the show world and have attained numerous National and Regional awards, inlcuding the coveted Kitten of the Year in 2007. While still actively showing, our focus is primarily on our cats and kittens. We are home with them most weekends and from the moment they are born. We have litters in the winter and again in summer. Raising each individual well is where our energy goes. Most of our kits are placed by word of mouth with referrals from our own vet and cardiologist!
